4th of July has officially arrived. For many of us, we enjoyed the holiday attending cookouts, watching fireworks, and spending time with friends and family. Businesses all across the country celebrated our Independence day in their own unique ways as well. Some created full-scale promotional campaigns, some featured huge discounts for holiday shopping, and some took to social media.
Let’s take a look at some of the most memorable advertisements and promotions companies used this 4th of July holiday.
Home Depot showed their patriotic spirit in several ways this 4th of July. Both Home Depot’s website and social media pages featured custom banner images for their Red White & Blue promotional campaign. Offering up to 40% off select items, Home Depot got in to the holiday spirit by offering substantial savings for holiday shoppers. Many retailers across the country offer deep discounts of their products during the holidays. Home Depot took it one step further and gave customers almost half off. Not a bad way to get into the holiday spirit!
Anheuser Busch puts together a great promotion every year for the 4th of July. This year Budweiser continued their tradition by using custom labeling for their product packaging, bottles, and cans. Featuring new logos incorporating patriotic symbols such as the Statue of Liberty and American flag, Anheuser Busch went all out celebrating this year’s 4th of July. New this year, Budweiser released a full-length commercial honoring members of the armed forces and their families. Partnering with Folds of Honor, Budweiser supported a great cause. Take a look!
Almost all retailers across the United States have some form of promotion for the 4th of July holiday. This year Walmart went above what their competitors were doing and created a catchy commercial to get their customers attention. Showcasing a fun summer cookout, this short commercial reminded customers that Walmart is their one-stop shop for all of your holiday needs. Getting you thinking about their products and services is the goal of every ad campaign. Walmart did a great job this year.
