Moove In Self Storage (MISS) is one of the northeastern regions leading self storage providers. With over twenty locations across Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and New York, the MISS team has provided complete storage solutions for over 20 years. With everything from fully stocked stores with moving supplies to a caring and compassionate team, MISS had almost everything they needed.
The folks at MISS reached out to VIG to take their online presence to the next level and reach more online customers across their different states.
MISS approached VIG to develop a local SEO campaign and optimize elements of their website. They wanted a clear look into their existing website performance with an outline of practical solutions to help reach their goals. The campaign had to take into account 22 different locations with potential growth for more. Above all, it had to live up to the success of the MISS name.
Navigating the ever changing nuances of SEO can be a challenge for any business. From refining their content strategy to performing routine link building efforts, MISS was responsible for managing a website with locations pages for 22 different locations and counting. Their team did a great job of performing keyword research, blogging about relevant topics and even updating meta data. But as their portfolio grew, they knew they needed a complete strategy for building their local SEO and reaching new clients.
With hundreds of daily users visiting their site from four different states, they knew it was time to take a fresh approach to their strategy. The team at VIG performed a full site audit and developed a 12 month campaign with their unique goals in mind.
The most effective solution to reach clients across each state was to develop an ongoing optimization plan with strategic local SEO elements for each location. This would include updates to the site’s user-experience along with page content optimization and keyword research.
The proposed updates would improve the site’s performance during organic search queries and allow users to easily access content in the site. This also included redesigning pages and updating local directory listings. The result drove increased traffic to the domain and dramatically improved user drop-off rates on key pages.
