Primary Responsibility:
As a developer at Visual Impact, your primary focus will be developing web-based applications, mobile apps, and websites for a wide range of clients. You will work closely with our clients, strategists and production teams, focusing on using cutting-edge technology to develop unique solutions for a variety of client needs….

Day-to-Day Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop and code custom web-based applications and websites
- Create and manage databases
- Assist in maintenance and updates to existing web applications and sites
- Test and debug applications
- Work with other team members on project planning, strategy, documentation, timelines and project execution
- Work with clients in-person and on conference calls to gather requirements and understand projects
- Develop custom solutions based upon a projects requirements
- Develop and offer additional ideas and strategy on how projects could be made even better
- Develop and write scope Documents
- Estimate hours for projects based upon scope documents and customer requests
- Understanding of web technologies and how to harness those technologies as a web or mobile solution
- Assess various technologies, applications, and integration for new and existing projects
- Discuss, review, and hand-off projects to develops
- Assist in testing of projects
- Ensure final releases meet the scope and customer requirements
- Assist in ensuring project stays within scope
- Very comfortable in speaking with customers and ability to discuss technical solutions in layman’s terms
- Help ensure company remains at the forefront of technology and identify technology trends
- Mobile app development
Experience to be Successful:
- 4 to 7 years of development experience
- ASP.NET Web Forms and ASP.NET MVC using C#
- HTML/CSS
- JavaScript and JavaScript Libraries
- Knowledge of PHP
- Experience with Drupal & WordPress
- Experience with Mobile App Development for iOS and/or Android
- Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and MySQL
- Desktop and Mobile Device testing experience
