American Woodmark is the industry leader in manufacturing award-winning cabinetry for kitchens and bathrooms. With five major brands, American Woodmark works with an immense distribution network to deliver their products across the country. They needed a custom website design that was capable of managing their different brands and providing essential information for multiple audiences.

American Woodmark Website

American Woodmark is a cabinet manufacturer headquartered in Winchester, Virginia that builds more than 500 cabinet styles for the remodeling and new home construction markets. The cabinets are produced under four major brands, including American Woodmark®, Shenandoah Cabinetry®, and Timberlake Cabinetry®, and Allen & Roth Cabinetry.

American Woodmark needed a corporate website that reflected the strength and craftsmanship of each of their brands.

Our Solution

We built a custom WordPress website featuring a unique user-interface with plugin integrations for everything they needed. We created a responsive website that contained valuable market information for investors, provided updates on industry news, and showcased each one of American Woodmark’s brands.

Custom Website Design
American Woodmark’s previous website featured an outdated design with a content management system (CMS) that didn’t allow for easy updates or changes. VIG built a new website on the WordPress platform with a clean, modern design that allowed for easy changes. The custom website design featured an easy-to-use layout that helped generate online traffic and leads.

Up-To-Date Investor Information
We developed a custom application programming interface (API) to bring in and update information for investors. We also brought in a feed to NASDAQ to display American Woodmark’s stock price with updates in almost real-time. Other essential information like SEC Filings, Annual Reports, and webcasts featuring quarterly earnings were linked directly to the website to offer transparency and easy access.


The American Woodmark website was part of an integrated brand identity campaign that was recognized by the American Advertising Federation of Greater Frederick in 2016. American Woodmark was impressed with the unveiling of their new website and proud of the results. After the launch, we continued to provide follow-up site support, including updates to the tools.
